Clear
Spring Fling Auction
Picture yourself in a majestic
castle atop a cliff soaking up a
White River sunset surrounded by
beautiful art and friendly faces. On
Saturday,
March 10, the Clear
Spring Fling Auction at the Castle
Rogue’s Manor offers the opportunity
to do
just that. The energizing auction is
a bidding adventure featuring
premium art, destinations, hand
crafted furniture, spa, restaurant,
and professional services. All while
enjoying complimentary wine and
beautifully created banquet hors
d’oeuvre. Proceeds from this festive
fundraiser benefit Clear Spring
School in Eureka Springs, AR.
The Silent Auction
starts at
5:30 pm when the Castle doors open,
just in time for the
spectacular
sunset at 6:07. Guests
are invited to mingle, enjoy the
food and wine, and begin their
bidding frenzy.
At 7pm, the
Live Auction action begins!
“When I got the word from the Treuer
family that we could have the
Auction
in their home, I did my happy
dance!” says Karen FitzPatrick,
Director of
Development at Clear Spring School.
“Each year the venue for our Auction
changes, and we have always dreamed
of having it in the Castle at
Rogue‘s Manor.
Clear Spring School friends from far
and wide, and especially the artist
community
of Eureka Springs give generously to
this event and the items will make
guests do
their own happy dance. And, come on,
who doesn’t want to party in a
castle?”
Tickets for the Clear Spring Fling
Auction are available in advance for
$16 through
http://clearspringflingauction.ticketbud.com/clearspringflingauction
or at the
Castle door for $20. The Castle at
Rogue’s Manor is located on Hwy 187
near
Historic Eureka Springs in Beaver,
AR and detailed directions and maps
may be
found at
http://www.castleroguesmanor.com/castle-contact.html.
The Castle at Rogue’s Manor,
recently featured on Yahoo Real
Estate, was built as
a monument to the ancient nature of
the Ozark Mountains, and honors
native trees
by incorporating their beauty and
substance into the heart of its
structure. Some
of the timbers have been milled
on-site to enhance the interior,
exterior, and the
original furnishings for the Castle.
Clear Spring School’s mission is to
promote a lifelong love of learning
through a
hands-on and hearts-engaged
educational environment for
Preprimary through 12th
Grade. Established in 1974, CSS is
the oldest 501(c) 3 non-profit in
Eureka Springs.
It is the first
nationally-accredited school in
Northwest Arkansas and a Member
of NAIS (National Association of
Independent Schools), and accredited
with ISACS
(Independent Schools Association of
the Central States). Clear Spring
alumni include
architects, doctors, musicians,
chefs, teachers, attorneys, a
nuclear physicist, and
a PhD of poetics. Clear Spring
School is known nationally by
independent school
leaders as “the miracle in the
woods,” due to its innovative,
progressive approach to
education. Travel, woodshop, camping
and other outdoor pursuits are just
a few of
the unique programs that make Clear
Spring special. The tuition only
covers forty
percent of the cost of the school
and fundraising fills the gap. The
Clear Spring
Fling Auction on March 10 is a
wonderful way to do that and have a
fantastic party
at the same time.
